Bravo Zarb: Recapping Our Many High 2015 Rankings

Congratulations to all of us. As we come to the end of the fall semester and the end of calendar 2015, we would like to recap how terrific a year this has been for the Zarb School of Business with regard to our rankings by independent parties. 🙂

Below are links to just some of our 2015 posts about ZSOB rankings. They are presented in reverse chronological order.

Zarb Students Win Prestigious Scholarships

As reported by Hofstra’s Karla Schuster:

“Three senior management majors at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business have won prestigious $20,000 scholarships from the Harold S. Geneen Charitable Trust. Now in its second year, the Harold S. Geneen Scholarship for Outstanding Achievement in Management is awarded based on academic excellence, financial need. and student essays on the importance of responsible corporate management.”

“’The continued generosity of the Geneen Charitable Trust not only helps support our students as they pursue their education, it sends a powerful message that training ethical, responsible corporate leaders is a core part of the Zarb School’s mission,’” said Herman Berliner, dean of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.

“The scholarship recipients are Brendan Rorke, who has minors in marketing and music, Nitigna Bhatt, a double major in management and marketing, and Joseph Corbisiero, a double major in management and legal studies in business. All three wrote essays about the importance of integrity in corporate management, and how they’ve practiced ethical management practices during internships, as well as in various student leadership roles.”

“The Harold S. Geneen Charitable Trust was formed with funds provided by Harold S. Geneen, CEO of ITT, one of the first international conglomerates. The principal mission of the trust is fostering the education of young people and promoting responsible corporate management. The emphasis is on educational programs directed toward the encouragement of individual initiative and development of managerial skills and techniques, and those that benefit outstanding individuals whose financial resources are limited and augmented by their own efforts.”
