The Zarb School and Community Engagement

The Frank G. Zarb School of Business has made a conscientious effort to bring financial literacy and business education into the lives of younger students in the community. By partnering with corporate organizations such as Capital One (Money & MeCapital One Entrepreneurship Challenge), Commerce Plaza, NASDAQ, NEFCU, Flushing Bank, and the U.S. Commercial Service, the Frank G. Zarb School of Business has the ability to educate students as young as fourth grade and continue that education through their college experience with the Capital One Entrepreneurship Challenge.

“These programs, in addition to several other initiatives, are providing Zarb students with real life lessons regarding today’s challenging economic climate. These partnerships provide them with direct hands-on experience and corporate networking opportunities that will support them even after they have graduated from Hofstra University,” stated Gioia Bales, Associate Dean, Frank G. Zarb School of Business.
