Zarb scores again!!!!!!!!
Hofstra University’s online MBA program is among the Top 50 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report, ranking higher than any other such program in the New York City metropolitan area.
The online MBA, offered by the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, is ranked 41st . Only three online MBA program in New York state, including Hofstra’s, made the Top 50. Launched in 2011, Hofstra’s online MBA offers two concentrations: strategic business management and strategic health care management.
US News is now ranking online MBA programs separately. As such, our rank improved from 65 to 41 – “top 50”. The weighting changed: Student Engagement, including best practices, grad rate, class size, retention, and time to degree decreased from 33% to 28%; Selectivity, including UG GPA, GMAT, work experience and acceptance rate, increased from 20% to 25%; Peer Reputation among Business School Deans increased from 20% to 25%; Faculty Credentials, including % with terminal degrees, online teaching training, % tenured, and number of technical support staff decreased from 13.5% to 11%; and Student Services & Technology, including indebtedness, infrastructure and support services decreased from 13.5% to 11%.
